A peaceful march planned for the 1st of November over the issue of mandatory vaccination has been deemed illegal and will not go ahead. Police Commissioner and Controller of the National Pandemic Response, David Manning made the clarification today in a statement. Commissioner Manning says the notice that was sent out for the peaceful protest contains information which he describes as, false and misleading. He warned that those spreading this false and misleading information that is causing public tension will be arrested and dealt with accordingly. The Controller reiterated that vaccination is not mandatory and remains a personal choice.
Commissioner Manning said relevant authorities within NCD have not given their approval for the planned protest march thus, it is illegal.
