Defence Minister Win Bakri Daki said the PNG-China relationship “goes a long way back in which the country has benefitted a lot from China”. “That is through infrastructure, economic and human development especially for our military force,” he said. Daki added he would be traveling to China next month to sign a K30 million agreement for the hospital at Taurama barracks. “As PNG continues to face the challenges in constant change in economic and security and religion, we need bilateral partners to work with us and assist us as we get through the challenges. “China is an important partner to PNG and we look forward to more similar engagements.” Photos by PNG Defence Force TheNational/PNGfacts Also read Comments are closed.
