The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Papua New Guinea says the call for vaccination is a genuine call but must be done without suppressing an individual's freedom. Head Bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of PNG Dr Jack Urame says, like other churches, the Lutheran Church also believes the pandemic is affecting human well being and the society at large and for the sake of saving human lives people have to be vaccinated. However, he said, at the same time their freedom of liberty must be respected.
